Our Story

We’re Jake and Christina, a couple united by faith and a dream to leave a legacy of giving. Raised in the Russian Old Believer Old Rite Orthodox Christian tradition, Christina found a spiritual home alongside Jake in a vibrant OCA church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This discovery fueled our mission to build upon Piece of Humanity, a platform to inspire and connect the Orthodox community.

Christina’s passion lies in the lives of pre-1700 AD saints and martyrs, whose stories bridge all Orthodox churches, fostering unity through shared veneration. With Piece of Humanity, we’re sharing these timeless stories through our blog, soon curating a stunning Iconography Library, and soon launching a Tulsa-based Orthodox Christian directory of talents and services. Looking ahead, we aim to support global Orthodox outreach and local volunteer opportunities
