Fr. Pavel Fefelov began the work of creating an Old Rite calendar as a deacon in Nikolaevsk, Alaska, in 1983, and he has made it every year since. Old Believers needed a year they could live by. The pages keep the feasts of the old books, the readings, the fasts, and a word of Scripture, in Russian and English.
